We will gather together at the Spirit of Life statue in Congress Park on Monday evening, April 4th, in remembrance of the 54th anniversary of the assassination of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on this date in 1968.
King was 39 years old, father to Martin III, Yolanda, Bernice, and Dexter, husband to Coretta Scott King, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, and inspiration to the World -- we come together to renew our commitment to continuing his work to create Justice and the Beloved Community for All.
